Pretty, well manicured trails. Lots of wide areas in the woods where you can walk side by side. Several nice areas for loping as well, and a neat area where you can walk in the pines. This was a very easy trail; would be great for a new horse or rider. Sometimes you can hear shooting nearby, but I don't think there is any hunting at the park. A couple of minimal water crossings, but no big deal. I don't remember it being rutty, but it's been a while.

Sugarcreek is the best place that I have ever gone to train beginner horses or beginner riders. The trails are beautifully maintained.I have ridden there at all times of the year and with many different horses.

Very easy trails. Well marked, wide and clean trails. Great for the beginner person and horse. They do not allow hunting at Sugercreek so it's a great place to go when hunting season is on, you don't have to worry about hunters taggin you instead of a deer. I mainly go here in the winter or very wet weather. Great place...I like it!

Great place to day ride if you just want to get out for a few hours. Trails are wide, well marked, and well maintained. With all the rain we've had, they were not that muddy. There is one creek crossing that I saw, but it was shallow. I didn't ride all the trails but plan to go back and check them out.
