This campground is AAA rated by me.. Owners are super nice and very accomadating. You can picket, corral or put horses in their A-1 rated barn. This is a small campground with about 9 sites and 1 barn but it is a super place to ride.. trails are in site distance.. you can ride long or short rides from the camp... We recommend Spruce Creek...

This is a wonderful place and will be our #1 pick for future trips to BSF. Upon arrival the stalls were clean and already had complementary first bag of shavings spread. The barn was clean and well lit. In the stalls are hay racks and 2 hooks for feed and water buckets. Water is provided inside the barn via hoses per every 2 stalls thus eliminating the need to carry heavy water buckets. Shavings can be purchased on site. Firewood is provided for group fire ring. And the hosts (Pam and Gary) were exceptional. They provide 2 trailers for accessing other trail heads. And the bath house was IMMACULATE - always. We give this a 5+ rating.

Talk about hospitality, Pam and Gary are the epitome of graciousness. They made me feel like family and worried about every detail with regards to my horses, rides and even loaned me a great little trailer to haul to far off trails. The first ride I rode directly from camp and was able to ride 8+ miles with wonderful trails. The second ride was even more amazing but I managed to get confused and just called Pam and she set me back on track. The stalls are the very best I have ever seen, nation wide, the site was perfectly level and close to the barn. No problems here and I'll be back. Wonderful place.
