CVNP is a gem located in Northeastern Ohio. There are several loop type trails as well as the Valley trail which connects the Breacksville Reservation to the CVNP and all trails south. We rode the Valley trail from Wetmore to Peninsula but it extends all the way up to Breacksville. The Wetmore area consists of several interconnecting large loops. There are steeps hills and trails that curve along the top of ravines - the views are beautiful. The Valley trail connects south to the Riding Run and Perkins trail areas. There is a short section across a bridge that is shared with the Towpath trail - meaning bikes - but the brilde trail quickly switches back off. Once you cross the train tracks and follow along some fields you come to the covered bridge. The Riding Run and Perkins loops are spectacular. They both have some steep hills that could be treacherous in wet weather but overall have nice riding for a day or more!
