We did not stay at the campgroud but rode out from the trailhead for a day long trail ride. The area was very diverse...going form open areas to very narrow tree covered trails between sand berms. Great place to experience different terrains on horseback.

Campgound is well maintained by the host & easy access off Route 200. Plenty of tie-line poles available, temporary electric fence enclosures are permitted, dogs on leashes & camp has a perimeter fence. Ample retail shopping & fast food nearby. The Greenway Trails are very diverse from prairies to live oak forests to pines and palmetto's to small hills to scrub forests and open areas. Water is available aprox. every 5-10 miles and at each trail head along the Greenway. Points of interest from Ross Prairie Trails are the river, old church and cemetary and the land bridge.
