We camped/rode here in Mid June. Bugs were not bad at all. There are many trails to ride. It's a long way to Parnell! My favorite look is Forest lake Loop. It's about 5 miles, pretty rocky, but a typical ride in the Kettle Moraine of Wisconsin. Sites are big and nice. Stabling on first come basis, pens at almost every site. High Line facilities available too. Water could be more convenient. Pit toilets were very clean. Electric coming for 2013! This is a fabulous camp! Try this place and you will return again!

I ride often through out the year at this camp. Trails are wide with some rocky areas hills (kettle areas) but not what I would call difficult. Pines, hardwoods and some gravel road travel, mostly dirt path. A small pond to water your horse with fresh spring water coming out of ground well. Camping is pull thru self register at camp area, group sites available(New) clean pit toilets. Will need a rider pass for the days you ride also at self registration. Water aviable, some sites have (2)10x10 pens, Some covered box stalls first come basis. Note horse and deer fly bad in July and August.

GREAT trail - somewhat challenging with plenty of hills. Very rocky, you will need shoes or hoof boots. This trail is LONG. Watch out for hunters. Camping is good, w/toilets and running water. Beautiful stands of pines, trails all wooded, a few meadows.
