The camp grounds and trails were closed due to heavy rains and trees falling. The web site showed the campgrounds and trails open but they were closed and the park service did not up date their web site. You can ride anywhere in the park except the horse trails. Call before you go!

Had so much rain that long stretches are completely underwater, but footing wasn't too bad as long as you stay on the trail! Going into the woods to avoid puddles was hazardous! Still, at least half of the trail was still dry. Beautiful variety of forest, mostly flat, would noremally be easy, but with some areas like a swamp it goes to moderate. We'll be back!

There are three water spigots that serve the entire campground. If it's been raining, some of the sites are not usable. Trees are tall; camp is very shady. We will go again.

Trails are sandy with pine needles; 98% shade. No shoes required. Campground is clean with tethering poles and hitching posts. Water spigots are on-site. Highly recommend.
