We rode Strouds Run for 4 days in October 2008. The trails are well marked. Some were quite steep and some were quite narrow but provided absolutely gorgeous views of the glacial ravines surrounding Dows Lake. We rode for 4 days and still did not see all the trails. There is one trailhead that leads down to a central area that then many trails branch off of. Athens County OHC should be commended for the trail markings and maintenence there. There were some trees down but someone had marked the way around them with surveyors tape as well. We stayed in Lake Hill Cabins - Big Pine Cabin - just up the road from the parking area. It was very comfortable and had good accomodations for the horses. I would highly recommend it.
