I ride the east end about 1-2 x/year. One of my favorite places to ride for an all-day ride. pine forests mostly, open rocky outlooks, multiple stream crossings and some steep switch back climbs, rocky enough most horses need shoes or boots. Lunch can be in a lovely meadow with an old homestead overlooking a pond with long views. lion trail, burro trail, etc. turn E at the park entrance on the E side. |
