We rode Monogonahala Forest for several years. All camping is primitive. First come first serve basis. The trails are beautiful but you want to make sure you have your horse in the very best of shape before attempting these trails. And a very experienced trail horse and rider. This is not for the average beginner rider. Trails are very steep and rocky with drop offs and ledges. Very primitive and NO CELL service in case of accident on the trails. But as I said the trails are beautiful and well worth the trip to ride. |
