We were scheduled to come with friends for the Memorial Day weekend. As we were pulling in, our friends were already pulling out. When we called to reserve, we explained our friends had an extremely long 6 horse trailer, but when they got there, there was absolutely no way they could fit in the spot they were given. Staff did attempt to move them to another site, but it was so muddy there were concerns of getting stuck. Not wanted to ruin our vacation, our friends encouraged us to look around and make our own decision. We were well aware it would be busy, but the amount of people there was frightening for the bathhouses they had available. I did not even walk in it. Trailers were less than 2 feet from one another and there was a tent in our spot. I would consider the stalls very unsafe at least in the lower campground where we were placed. To their credit when I called and told them we were not satisfied, I had no difficulty receiving my deposit back. We left and went to Circle E Guest Ranch which was absolutely lovely. |
