This was our Third Time at True West, I usually review each time right after the trip. Didn’t get to it, but just happened to see True West getting awarded another best campground award. Congratulations!! Then read some of the reviews. I am glad to see most people feel the same as me, this campground is the best. The rules are in place for the campers safety and comfort. Not all people like to have dogs running loose in the barns, grounds. Frankly the rules did not bother me in the least, I had no problem with them as I didn’t plan on breaking them. As the last two times with the Martins, Shawn, Donna, Brittany they were wonderful hosts. The barns was clean, the bathrooms/bathhouse were clean, the campground was clean and neat. We were there at Halloween for a costume contest and they had several campers and horses participate. Fun! Shawn trailered us out to a trailhead for a ride, we gave him a gratuity for his time and expense. He never asked but it is the right thing to do. They really work very hard and it is really nice to see them, get these award/s. We (all six of us) had a great time once again. We will be back again in the future.

This was our second time coming to TWC, it lives up to its five star rating, the campground is clean, well maintained, hot shower was fantastic, barn is clean and neat, both Donna and Shawn are good people. I hope to be able to come back and see the cutest pup ever, next year, see how big she’s gotten. Thank you again for another good time.

Shawn,Donna,Brittany,This family works very hard to go out of their way to be of assistance and all with a smile and friendly conversation. The FIVE STAR rating is well deserved on this campground. Barn-Clean, Bathroom-Showers(hot)-Clean,Campground-Clean. The extras of helping us unload our gear, Wonderful. Shawn even cleaned out the manure in the trailer!! The stall cleaning service is great-too cheap (Shawn needs a raise), but well worth it. The trails were wonderful too. I am glad we got to experience this pleasant and relaxing horse camping trip @TWC My husband and I will definately be back to ride the other trails we did not get to go on this trip. Try this campground, you will not regret it.
