The camping is average with campsites next to each other. The cabins are comfortable and the new one on top of the hill is fantastic. The horse accommodations are average. Bring shavings or be prepared to buy some as some of the stalls have cement floors. The riding is fun and varied. The trails are not marked so bring a GPS to get around or hire a guide. Some areas are steep and tricky riding. I would return here to explore more of the hundreds of miles of horse trail. |

This is an awesome place to camp. The horse stalls are covered and tall enough not to have to worry about fights over the panels. Water is close by. Although the campsites are very close together, The facilities make it worth while. This is the best shower house at a campground I have ever been in! Very clean and spacious. We were there after there had been some rain, so some of the trails were quite slick but easy to navigate. These trails join onto the Shimek State forest so it really expands your riding opportunities. Unfortunately while we were there we could only ride the wet weather trails in the Shimek due to the rain. I will definitely return to this campground! |

The country is beautiful and Doug is very friendly but the trail maps are difficult to read and the trails are not marked at all. It's easy to get lost. You need a guide to ride the first time you visit. Doug normally does this but he was busy haying while we were there and we were left to our own devices. Make sure you have someone to guide you if it's your first time here. |

This is a review of Ten Broek Rv and horse hotel. Bonnie and Darrel are great people. After having a bad experience in South Dakota, we asked about hiring a guide. Darrel said it wasn't necessary as both he and Bonnie would take us to their favorite places. We went where there were no trails but some cow paths. Bonnie and Darrel always knew where they were and showed us some of the most beautiful country. Trails are steep and rocky but very manageble. The campground was clean and shady. The horses had nice pens. You can walk all over Ten Sleep from there. Make sure you get a shaved ice. Very refreshing on a hot day. I will come back here some day. |
