Trails were pretty....map wasn't very helpful, trails weren't marked very well & few places not cleared well either, this was all ok if didn't have kids riding with us... all levels of riders was what was advertised we however only came upon trails on mountain bluffs time &
time again. Was told would have to move because of our generator then later another
trailer was allowed to do just what we were being told we needed to move about we were
almost made to move over... the almost last 7 mile stretch to get to this camp is not a
place for inexperienced truck & trailer driver.... in day light the 6miles took us 40min as to not be evil on our horses. In order to get to dinner had to walk through the middle of a group singing hymes which was a bit odd... If you need beer/fuel get it before you go because it's a 2hr jont to get it later on & get back. They are NOT Lieing about don't try to take the other rd to get in....part of the "rd" Is a creek that you have to forge to get to the rest of the "road".
All & all if you are really into riding mountain bluffs & baptisms, church & have a good generator this place is for you... Shoes are a must! |

You will not find a friendlier more laid back camping spot. The owner was more than welcoming and we felt right at home. Lots of room between camping areas, stalls available, area you can use, and lots of great one of a kind stops along the trail. The town has a great little watering hole that serves good food and has an happy hour:) I would recommend shoes for your horses as there is a lot of rocks a few tricky spots but nothing too crazy. Be sure to stay on the trails or have a good sense of direction his spread is over 4200 acres it would take a while to find your way back!:) We will all be going back yearly! |

Great camp sites, good trails, marked well, cleaned, shower house just down from camping area, stalls for horses, day parking area. Lots of muddy creek crossings some pretty trees, the Christmas tree you can bring an ornament to help decorate:), the wishing well and picnic spot.... don't need shoes necessarily but it's getting rockier these days.... |

Owners are great, facilities are very nice, great stalls, trails are marked well, good day ride place, we did every trail we think that was able. & our phone said 13 miles. Few hills that would be bit much for beginner or kids. The trails on camp side are very very easy great for newbies & lil kiddos. Shoes I wouldn't say are really needed but wouldn't hurt in spots. Nice creek to play around in. Coggins a must. |
