This is one of the best places I have ever camped! Everything is so clean, Owner's are always available for questions. I never feel like my horse is unsafe when we take a day off due to weather or we just want a trip to Muddy Pond. The fourth trip to True West was just as amazing as the first! My reservations for 2018 are already made!

Once again Ture west pulled out all the stops and it was 5 star treatment all the way! Our 3rd trip and the fourth is already on the books for next year. Clean restrooms, clean campground, and a really safe environment for us and our horses. A trip or 2 to Muddy Pond and we knew the horses were in good hands. I love that Donna and Shawn aren't complacent with their accomplishments at True West and are continually improving on an already great place to stay. The trails are your choice, easy and relaxing (a wonderful place for gaited horses, or non-gaited, you can flat gallop if you want to) or fun and challenging. We rode to the needle's eye and the O & W Trestle bridge this year. Even did the OH S##t trail. Breathtaking beauty in God's creation. This is definitely one of go to places every year.

This was my 2nd trip to True West, my 3rd is already planned for 2016. Donna and Shawn are the best. Be prepared for the star treatment the moment you pull in. If you want to sight see without horses, while you are there, don't worry, your horses are in good hands. The special events, bonfires make it fun for everyone.

True West was an awesome experience! The facilities were beyond what I expected. The barns were clean. The camp sites are huge so your neighbors aren't on top of you. Hot showers and and clean bathrooms what more could you want? But there is so much more going on at True West, Donna & Shawn are so helpful. You need trail info, just ask. You want to shorten your ride or ride a different part of BSF, Shawn will drop you off, Off-site. I can't say enough good things about True West. Be sure to check out Hippy Cave, Fiddlers Arch, and Wildcat den, pictures can't do them justice. If you are a novice, ask for advice, If you are an avid trail rider with experience.... Just go ride! We have already booked for 2015, that's how much I like True West!
