Big Mineral Equestrian Trails, near Gordonville, Tx

Trail Rating:
Camp Rating:

Only my third time on these trails and have been excited to ride each time! First thing to note is clear signage to direct you to equestrian camp. No uncertainty now. Also to note are the definitive permanent trail markers have been fixed along Walnut Creek Trail and also Brushy Creek Trail eliminating the chance of getting lost while riding them. Several alternate trails for less experienced riders/green horses for the more intense inclines, etc. The campground is getting much needed attention and trimming so trailers can clear without scraping roof with low limbs. Volunteers have done a great deal of work to make this happen. Tree stumps have been removed that were by the pavilion. To date there are four pens with possibility of more pens in the future.
