Trail Description Trails of varying length and difficulty in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and nearby access to Spruce Creek Trails. We can point you in the direction of easy, moderate or more difficult trails.

Campground HORSEpitality® is the best way to describe this award winning Campground!! The only place your horses are just as important a customer as the camper is. Access to Trails directly from the campground! True West Campground, Stables & Mercantile (Big South Fork Recreation area)is family owned and operated. We are centrally located to access the Big South Fork trails in several directions. The campground has 67 stalls and 33 campsites with water and 30-50amp electric, 7 of the sites also have sewer, all easy access and level. We also have some great grassy spots for tent sites. Can accommodate LARGE trailers. Amenities include: On Site Cafe' Serving Breakfast and Dinner, WIFI hot spot, Verizon hot spot, RV sewer dump, nice shower houses with heat and a/c, lodging and camper rental, two horse wash stations, two stocked fishing ponds, mercantile with tack , western clothing, gifts, supplies, snacks, ice. Area and trail maps also available. The Common area has a large covered deck with access to tables and grill. Special events all year long. Large clean covered barns with bedded stalls, bucket hooks, saddle racks and bridle hooks. Wide 18 foot isle in the barn - plenty of room to tack up. Come visit us and bring your friends!
