Trail Description Marked trails are mostly old logging trails (2 track) through natural, tall pines in the Goethe State Forest (47,000 acres). As in most of Florida, the trails are sandy, although there is one stretch of about 4 miles on one trail that is clay and gravel. Northstar acres offers guided trail rides and has rental horses.

Campground This is a private campground with about 8 campsites with electric and water hook-ups adjacent to the barn with 12x12 stalls for the horses. Primitive sites are also available.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
