Trail Description Beautiful ride along the Verde River with great vistas and lots of secluded crossings of the clear, cold Verde. Water horses love it. Part of the trail is in 3' of water for a mile! Go soon! Phoenix water district seeking approval to drain the river for drinking water!
Best Time to Visit Summer for sure.

Campground Primitive camping in the desert. Coyotes, mountain lions and wild game abound.
