Trail Description High desert trails at 5,000 feet elevation, beneath the Eastern Sierra crest. Trails are gentle slopes with sandy footing winding through beautiful sage and dry washes with spectacular views of the Sierra peaks and the Owens Valley. The Alabama Hills are close by, offering dramatic rock formations and endless trails through old western movie locations.
Best Time to Visit April through October
Times to Avoid
Campground Main cabin sleeps (4) with kitchen and bath. Tent cabins sleep (2) with adjacent bath house. Screened gazebos and lots of flat spots for tent camping. Area is well shaded. Horses can be high lined at camping area or stabled in paddocks or barn on ranch.
