Trail Description: This is a lot of fun to ride with a variety of terrain. The hills were created by an effort to dredge a canal between the east and west coast of Florida. This area has all reverted to forest. For the complete story, refer to the website listed under Flordia Dept of Greenways.
Very primitive but plenty of room in a wooded area. There aren't any marked sites, so find a tree and park under it. This area has had some important improvements done to it in the last 2 years. There is now water for horses (not humans, however) and there are several paddocks. It's still primitive - no toilets - but it has lots of shade so it's nice if you have a self contained unit.
