Trail Description: Wooded single track, new forest but not brushy. FLIES ARE TERRIBLE, unless you collect them because every annoying biting species is there by the thousands!!! I'm not kidding! July 26, 2009 from 1:30PM to 2:30PM Otherwise, it is a very pretty trail and is a steady climb to the top of Mt. Hebo. No water.
Just a gravel parking lot, there is a campground down the hill with a small lake/pond that is nice but there isn't room for a trailer. Fee may apply, NW Forest Permit should cover day use. Campground had $5 day use and $12 overnight. Gravel parking lot is probably free.
