Trail Description: McKee's Woods is a privately owned 300 acre parcel of land just outside of Wilmington, Ohio. There are trails located throughout the property. While this is not a very large parcel of land when compared to other riding areas in the state, it is incredibly well maintained and taken care of. The gentleman who owns the land eventually wants to see it turned into a park for horse trails and the general preservation of nature. You can easily ride a couple of hours here without taking the same trail. This is a great place to teach young riders or young horses. A lot of the trails are wide and there are nearly no bad, muddy spots to worry about. This is definitely not a place that you will go to over and over again. However it is definitely a great place to add to your mix of trail riding locations. There is not a campground as it is only a daytime riding facility. This place is honestly still a work in progress that currently is only known about by the locals. The parking area is not marked off of the Road, which makes it tough for first timers. This riding area is located just outside of Wilmington, Ohio on Cuba Road. The parking area is just southwest of the intersection of Dalton Road and Cuba Road. Pleasant mix of smaller crop fields, young forests, mature forests, and a large stream with several crossings.
