Trail Description: Trails are moderate with hills and some climbs, flat stretches, shaded and wide enough in some places to ride side by side. Trails also offer awesome views of the 100 acre lake at camp, as well as creek crossings for watering your horses. Please clean up your trash and horse manure when you leave. No drinking or reckless behavior is tolerated.

Paul M. Grist State Park offers something for the whole family. There are 11 full hook up camp sites and almost endless primitive (full hook ups camp sites are along the water). Horses are not allowed in the full hook up camp areas. There is a big field at the end of the full hook up area for portable fencing. Primitive camping areas have about 8-13 camp sites, fire pits, grills, and a water spigot near the road for watering horses. The furthest primitive camping area offers a huge field for picketing, camping, one grill and a picnic table. This primitive area also has an entree point for horse trails. The camp also offers hot showers and toilets, canoe and peddle boat rentals, fishing and piers, play ground, a big pavilion for parties with a big grill. The boat rental office has snacks, cokes, ice and live bait.
