Trail Description: Easy to More Difficult trails, well marked on Corp of Engineer land around Hillsdale Lake. The Blue trail (North Loop) is mostly wooded with some water and road crossings. The Red trail (South Loop) is mostly open grassland that skirts the woods, south of the Dam and over towards the campgrounds on the West side of the lake.Visit my website for photos of the campground and trails http://trails.tuschhoff.net/trails/hillsdale.html
The campground has campsites and open safari type camping in the big field. There are poles provided for tying your picked lines or you can set up portable pens. Maps are provided and there is a camp host (May through October) that can help with horse needs such as feed or vet care. The facilities include a pciinic shelter, water hydrants and vault toilets.
