Trail Description: Station Camp Horse Camp is nestled quietly inside Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area 125,000 acres. There are over 212 miles of just horse trails to explore! From the campground there are two main loops, Pilot Wines (14.8 miles) and Big Island (16 miles) but there are short rides to overlooks and rockhouses as well as going to the Big South Fork River (5 miles). Once you cross the river there are endless possibilities and connector trails. All the trails are maintained by the National Park Service and are kept in good shape.
The campground contains 24 individual sites. Each campsite offers water and electricity, tables, grills, tie-outs for up to four horses, modern restrooms with hot showers and a dump station.
