Trail Description: Music Meadows is a family owned and operated working cattle ranch located at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Enjoy 4,000 acres of land to roam over gently rolling pasture, through aspen groves, and over streams (if you wish). We also adjoin National Forest trails for additional miles of mountain adventure. Guests will enjoy their stay in our spacious century old but updated ranch headquarters. The 3 bedroom, 2 bath home comfortably sleeps up to nine guests. Cozy up back at the ranch and relax in front of the fire. It is utterly peaceful. Open year-round.
For overnight horse stays Music Meadows Ranch has round pens or pole corrals available with private or companion pens. Horse lodging is $10 per horse, per night. Bring your own feed, current health inspection certificate and negative Coggins are required. You will also need to complete the Music Meadows Ranch Horse Waiver and Unguided Trail Riding Waiver.
