Trail Description: The Florida Greenway offers some interesting riding through a variety of hammocks and open fields. This trailhead/campground is just east of the land bridge over I-75. It's always fun to ride over the interstate. The horses seem to care less that there are thousands of cars and 18 wheelers passing under them. There is a nice day ride going east of the camp. Take your lunch and enjoy the picnic tables at the Santos trail head just off US 27/301/441 (all routes use the same road here.
Most of the camping is primitive, although there are a few places where you can hook up to water and electric. At least, there is potable water from taps from which you can fill your tanks. There are probably a total of about 30 or forty stalls in two separate barns. You need to call Sue Noys at 850-222-8738 to make a reservation and get the combination for the lock on the gate. Note that there are charges for camping and horses (different rates if you tie out or use stalls)
