Trail Description: Many mile of beauiful mountain trails into the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness Area. Overnight rides as well as long day rides. Also trailer to Kennedy Meadows and other Emingrant Wilderness trailheads with 10 to 20 miles giving you access to many more wonderful miles of wilderness trails. Moderate to difficult, 6400 to 10,000 feet elevation
Located next to the Clarks Fork of the Stanislaus River in pines and grassland. No water or showers in camp. Available in adjacent campground. Pit toilets, picnic tables, fire pits,Group area. Some sites can handle large trailers. Highlines, picketing and portable corrals ok. Popular camp. Easy access to Carson-Iceberg
