Trail Description |
Beautiful wooded trails that wind their way through 15,000 acres of the Pennyrile State forest, teaming with some of the largest white tail deer in the south along with all the various wildlife that inhabit the western KY region! Trails range from wide enough for vehicles (although no atv's or moter vehicles are allowed on the trails), to one horse paths that wind their way up and down through the forest terrain. Many creek crossings are filled with water during Spring, Fall and Winter, sometimes in summers with plenty of rain. Trails are maintaned by volunteers from the area who are also avid trail riders. If you've never visited this area of the state it is well worth the visit! |
