Trail Description |
Easy to moderate trails through grassland and timber. The trail goes around a lake and offers beautiful views of water and wildlife. Most trails are wide enough for two horses to walk side-by-side. Timber trails are somewhat more narrow but are generally well groomed and mowed to accommodate hikers as well as horses. |

Campground |
7 pull through campsites with electric (50 and 30 amp) and water hookups. 3 additional primitive sites with the possibility of a 4th. Pens and tie rails available. Manure management site, rakes, wheelbarrows. There is a covered shelter with electric and lights. Campground has solar lights and porta pot, shower house is located in another nearby campground. This park also has a small arena and a nice obstacle course for working with your horse. |

Directions |
From Shenandoah, IA, go north on HWY 59 5 miles. Turn East on gravel road 150 St and go 1 mile. At the stop sign, turn north on A Ave and go approximately 1/8 mile and the campground entrance will be on the east side of the road. |
