Campground |
A small campground for the use of equestrians. Locates at the start of an extensive system of bridle trails. Camp amenities include hitching posts, fire rings, picnic tables, pit toilets. There is no fee for camping here, but be advised that this is a primitive campground. |

Directions |
From CT Route 198, approx 3 miles south of US 44, turn east into Natchaug State Forest. Follow the forest entrance road over the Natchaug River bridge and up a hill to a fork in the road. Turn right following a sign for the horse camp and follow the gravel road approx. 1 mile to the campground entrance on the left. |
