Trail Description This former rail bed has a crushed limestone compacted & rolled surface. There are several decked trestles and bridges. Scenic and mostly rural there is a stabling facility that abuts the trail. Stabling arrangements are via Gillum House Bed & Breakfast in Shinnston.

Directions From I-79 Exit #124, turn west on Rt 279 to WV Rt 707, turn right and go to stop sign (about 1 mile), turn left (west on WV Rt 131). Drive approx 5 miles to traffic light (US Rt 19) and turn left (south). Trailhead is approx. 1/4 mile on right (across from Rite-Aid).
