Trail Description: Well-marked and maintained trail with map, follows historic Civil War roads and trails around the Pea Ridge Battlefield national monument park. Very tame deer and lots of them. Lots of other wildlife, such as turkey and foxes. Some rocks and may be boggy on the backside of the mountain after rain. While there, you may get to see Civil War re-inactors at Elkhorn Tavern, just off the trail.
Day camping only, no overnights.
