Campground Campground is very nice. We went in the early Spring so did not have any problems with flies or mosquitoes though we've heard that bugs are terrible after Memorial Day. We were there the first week that the park opened May 1 so there weren't any wheel barrows, but the ranger said they usually have them out. There is a lot of wildlife to be heard from camp. We heard owls, loons and coyotes in the evenings. We were the only horse campers in the park so we had our choice of campsites. The bathrooms were close for us, but can be quite a distance for some sites. The highlines are on raised ground so even though it rained, there was no mud. I like the sites because there are no pads for trailers, you can park how ever you want so you can see your horse from your camper.
