Trail Description Beautiful horse trail traversing through the globally rare Oak Openings Region. The Horse Center has parking for up to 30 rigs, (if everyone parks properly) there are picnic tables, grills, mounting stands, and primitive toilet at the Horse Center. Great park for beginners, the trail is wide and the tread is dirt and sand, no shoes needed! For more information: www.oakopeningshorsetrail.com

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
