Trail Description 50 miles of trails with a variety of terrain that will appeal to the novice as well as extreme equestrian. The trails are wide and well maintained. There are open fields, valleys, flats and challenging hills The typography consists of grass, sand, clay, dirt and rocks. There are streams that run throughout the property. Shoes or boots are recommended. Not all the trails are rocky but you may come across areas that are.

Campground Big Valley Ranch offers both primitive and electric sites. We have a large gravel drive that runs up the middle of our campground with both 20 amp and 30 amp service on each side. 24x24 paddocks are available behind the electric sites. We have water located on both sides of the campground with hoses. You will need to provide your own water buckets and extension cords. A manure dumping station is located nearby with ramps for easy access. We have a shower house bath that is within 50-100 yards. There is a picnic pavilion available for hosting club awards and dinners banquets. Nearby is a community fire pit with fire wood available to use. Our campsite is open during our open ride or event weekends. Please call us if your group has an interest in making reservations on a non-event weekend. Other provisions include: round pen, 150x300 outdoor arena For more plush accommodations check out our luxurious 4000 sq. ft. barn house with indoor stalls below. Sleeps up to 12.

 Easy
(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
