Trail Description On the trails, you will travel along various small streams and two larger creeks. The trails have three picnic areas, accessible by horse back only. These areas have tables, hitching post, and a toilet. There are 2 separate stream crossings on the trip. The trails mostly wind along wooded ridges with the occasional grassy meadow. In the spring time, you will see different colors of honeysuckles and wildflowers mixed between patches of mountain laurels with the occasional turkey gobble. During the summer, you will travel along some of the famous Burt's Farm pumpkin fields. There will be the views of the Amicalola Falls, Fausetts Lake, and Burnt Mountain. The fall offers a beautiful multi-colored collage as the leaves begin to change. The cool weather, local festivals, and near by attractions make this time of year a prime time to visit Fausett Farms Horse Trails.
