Trail Description |
Station Camp Horse Camp is nestled quietly inside Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area 125,000 acres. There are over 212 miles of just horse trails to explore! From the campground there are two main loops, Pilot Wines (14.8 miles) and Big Island (16 miles) but there are short rides to overlooks and rockhouses as well as going to the Big South Fork River (5 miles). Once you cross the river there are endless possibilities and connector trails. All the trails are maintained by the National Park Service and are kept in good shape. |

Campground |
The campground contains 24 individual sites. Each campsite offers water and electricity, tables, grills, tie-outs for up to four horses, modern restrooms with hot showers and a dump station. |

Directions |
4504 Station Camp Road, Oneida, TN 37841. From I-75 Exit at Highway 63, the Oneida-Huntsville Exit (141). Follow Highway 63 west for 21 miles through Huntsville to U.S. 27. Turn right on U.S. 27 and drive north 7 miles to Oneida. At the first traffic light, turn left on Highway 297 west and then left again at stop sign. Stay straight on this road and Station Camp will be on your right after entering Big South Fork .5 miles |
