Trail Description |
Guests may ride directly into the Big Creek/Mount Sterling section of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Park trails range from wide with a slight grade to steep, narrow, and rocky. The views are superb. Just a mile ride up a gravel road gives you access to the roads and trails in the 12 Mile Strip area of the Pisgah National Forest. |

Campground |
We rent to one person or group at a time. The site is roughly 0.25 acres with 10 tie stalls, a grassy area for portable coral setup, parking for 6 to 8 trailers, a limited number of electric hookups, a covered picnic shed, a fire pit, and a vault toilet. We are only two easy miles from I-40 and are a great stopping place for an overnight layover as well as a great trail riding destination |
