Trail Description |
The trails moderate to easy depending on the route traveled. There are trails on both sides of the road. One side taking you through the steeper hills and around Howards Prairie lake. The scenery and view is gorgeous. The other side of the road takes you on easier beginner friendly trails with tiny streems and soft rolling hills. |

Campground |
The camp is divided into area A and B. Area A has 16 corrals and 9 sites with tables and fire pits. Area B has 16 corrals and 5 sites with tables fire pits, vaulted toilets and fresh water pumps. There is a stream close to the camp sites that is fun for the kids to play in. Lots of shade trees and no mosquitos (in July). Howards Prairie lake and boat launch is just a few miles away so with just a short drive you have hot showers, a store (for the things you forgot at home!), firewood and a restaurant. |
