Trail Description |
The several trails offer varying terrain riding experience. There is the 32 mile Perimeter Trail that circles Wm. H. Harsha Lake (Corp of Engineers). The other trails provide for shorter rides of from 2 to 9 mile loops. When we were there in July 2002 sections were somewhat overgrown with wild roses. It was very dry. However, we've been told that the trails will be muddy during the wet season (spring). |

Campground |
The individual camping has electric hook-ups, showers, and potable water (no hook-ups) in a family campground setting. Some of the camp sites are in the shade while others are in sunny locations. The sites are fairly clean with a minimum of trash. Manure bins are provided although at some sites it's allowed and appropriate to distribute the manure into the woods.
The group camping (group reservations only) is in an open field. There are no hook-ups but there are latrines. There's probably room for 30 rigs in the group site. |
