Trail Description |
Beautiful trails in the Black Hills National Forest for every level of rider & horse or mule. Lots of rocks for mules to climb along trails for horse riders. 80% of the trails are in the Ponderosa Pines with some open land riding through the hills. TC Horse Camp is next to a 30 mile stretch of the George S. Mickelson trail that is an old railroad bed or ride to the Mt. Rushmore Via the Centennial Trail. A gooseneck stock trailer is available so you dont have to break camp. |

Very private, quiet & rustic campgrounds nestled in a canyon in the Black Hills. 16 covered stalls, 9 30 amp hook-ups @ $35 night, 2 cabins with 2 double beds each & full bathrooms @ $75-90 per day, Horse $15 each per day Mens & Ladies full bathhouse & laundry. Tent camping $20 per day. Hay available @ current cost. The Camp is open May to October & weather is variable and can be cool in the spring & fall. Reservations guarantee you a spot. Property borders the forestry service on 2 sides of the property. Less than 1 mile from the Mickelson Trail. |
