Trail Description OVER 30 MILES OF WELL-MARKED, SCENIC, WOODED TRAILS AROUND THE SHORES OF GREEN RIVER LAKE. MOST TRAILS ARE EASY TO MODERATE LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY.
Best Time to Visit CAMPGROUND/TRAILS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND.
Times to Avoid 2 WEEKS IN DECEMBER THERE IS A HUNT ON THE STATE PARK
Campground WE NOW HAVE 82 SITES. ELECTRIC,WATER AND SEWER ON ALL SITES. CAN ACCOMMODATE LARGE RIGS. HORSES ARE STABLED IN THE BARN NEXT TO THE CAMPGROUND WITH MOST STALLS AT LEAST 10' X 12'. NICE LARGE SHOWERS/RESTROOMS. LAUNDRY FACILITY ON SITE. ENTERTAINMENT IS OFFERED AT THE NEW "SALOON" IN THE BARN. LIVE BANDS ON SPECIAL WEEKENDS AND KARAOKE MOST ANY OTHER TIME. POT LUCK SUPPERS. POOL TABLE. TRAIL MAPS. PICNIC TABLES AND FIRE RINGS ON SOME SITES.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
