Trail Description Beautiful trails, interspersed with hiking, running and biking trails. All trails are well marked. One trail is flat and runs along a creek. The rest are fairly hilly and rocky.
Best Time to Visit Spring/Fall
Times to Avoid Summer
Campground Full 30/50 amp hookups. Electric/Water/Sewer. Campsites are basically just a parking lot, but they are very convenient to the stables. Stables are simple with no roof (supposed to be added soon). Nice grassy area to graze, wash or lunge your horses. New bathroom/shower facilities. Oak Mountain Riding Stables (guided trail rides) and Petting Farm nearby. Oak Mountain State Park is 9000+ acres with lots of other activities.
