Trail Description |
We offer over 75 miles of single track, old logging roads, closed forest roads away from all traffic as well as miles and miles of dirt roads for wagon trains. Only 2 trails are "out & back" all other trails will make loops back to camp. All trails are color coded and trail maps are available for $2.00 each |
Best Time to Visit |
Anytime is great; you will find more opportunity to ride with others during weekends. All holidays are busy. |
Times to Avoid |
During hunting season, we recommend only riding during Sundays as we are adjacent to a NC Gameland as well as USFS. |
Campground |
375 acres with 3 seperate horse trailer camping areas, a tent camping area, and cabins for rent in a seperate area. We have a large fishing pond and picnic pavilions. Hot showers are available & most sites border Mulberry Creek. We also have a full kitchen in each pavilion for groups. |

Directions |
From Lenoir, NC; take Hwy 321 North toward Blowing Rock; go past the FLASHING CAUTION approx. 1 mile to the Boone's Fork Recreation Park sign; take that LEFT onto Roby Martin Road. Follow Roby Martin to the STOP sign. Take a RIGHT onto Mulberry Creek Road; follow it a couple miles to Anita-Alta. The road turns to dirt just 7/10 of a mile PAST our entrance!
