Trail Description Access to over 20,000 acres of difficult to easy trails. Beautiful white sandy beaches on the Calamus Reservoir. 18 mile trail rides to secluded sandhill lake with guide only. Easy to more rigorous trails available. Some land is public and other trails are on private land and there is an access fee.
Best Time to Visit April-End of Oct. Beach rides on Calamus only Sept.-Oct.

Campground Nice Bunkhouse has heat and AC. Sleeps 5 in separate beds. Sleeps up to 8 if shared beds. Living Area and Two Bedrooms. One Large Bathroom. Bedding and Towels are provided bring your own toiletries. Small Kitchen: Equipped with dishes, pots & pans, two micro-waves, coffee pot, toaster oven, toaster, hot plate, and small frig. Wireless Internet Available. 4 Outdoor 12x 12 horse Pens; 6 Indoor Stalls; Bring your own water buckets, bedding, and feed. Small outdoor arena, 50 foot round pen, play ground with obstacles, large outdoor arena with 1/2 miles race track available. Access to over 16,000 acres to Trail Ride on. Some is public and some is private ranches with an access fee. Lease Horses are Available All Horses must be current on vaccinations, and health certificates.

 Easy
(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
