Trail Description About 30 miles of trails on two major loops wind through approximately 17,000 acre preserve owned by Clemson University. These trails are shared with hikers and bikers(non-motorized). At least one trail borders on Lake Hartwell and you can ride your horse to the lake.

Campground There is no camping at the trail head but I've been told that groups an arrange to use the camping facilities at the T Ed Garrison Arena, which is across the road from the trail head.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
