Trail Description The South Chargrin reservation is part of the Cleveland Metroparks Emerald Necklace. It has 15 miles of trails that loop through the woods. In the main part of the reservation there are multiple loops that offer a variety of terrain. Hilly but not too rigorous. Some parts are rockly. Several water crossings. The trail from the Polo Field to the reservation is about 3 miles long and meanders along the Chagrin River with beuatiful views. This part is mostly flat. Parking at the Polo fields is plentiful unless there is some activity there. There are several sites for trailer parking in the main part of the reservation at the end of River Road. The metroparks website has a nice trail map.
