Trail Description Farragut State Park is located on 4,000 acres at the edge of Lake Pend Oreille. Well maintained, well marked trails that are easy to ride. Takes you through open meadow and dense forests. Terrain is level to rolling, with mild hills. Maps available at park headquarters.

Campground Campsites include sturdy wood corrals with water available. Some toilet facilities. Parking area large enough for big rigs. Group horse camping area may also be reserved in advance and those have BBQ pits, toilets, etc. Total: Six individual sites plus a group camping area.

Directions Easily accessible: 30 miles North of Coeur d’ Alene on Hwy 95. At Athol, take HWY 54, 4 miles to the park.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
