Trail Description Trails are groomed packed dirt and grass -- no rocks. 90% of the trails are shaded and wind through the woods and along the river. There are some hills but are not required to climb unless you chose to do some hill work. Horses are allowed in the river. Trails are great for for all levels of riders. We saw everything from first time riders to endurance riders conditioning their horses. Regarding distance. There are three different areas of trails. Primary trails -- 3 - 4 Miles -- Can Ride Anywhere in this area. Second Area -- Requires Specific Permission to access -- 300 acres Third Area -- Requires Specific Permission -- Across the River -- very challenging -- 1000 acres

Campground This is a working ranch with two very different areas. The "upper campground" is for full hookup RVs (30/50 Amp, Sewer and Water). The sites are new and very large with a lot of space between them. There is a new bath house / laundry building, store, free WiFi. Most sites are pull through and very long (60 feet). The "lower area" is the real gem here. You drop down about 50 feet to the Medina River area. This area is very dense woods with many open areas for camping. There are about 50 sites in this area some right next to the river. For horse camping there are large shaded areas where horse trailers can be parked overnight. Each of these areas are right next to the trail heads. The areas are very large and allow for multiple trailers to circle and generators are allowed. There is water throughout this area and portable restrooms. Those that stay in this lower area have full use of the upper campground showers and laundry. One thing to note -- when you pull into the campground you will have no idea as to what is down below until you go deep into the property. This is a gated Ranch using a keypad entry and automatic exit after hours. The store / office is open 7 days a week. 9am - 7pm M-Th. 8am - 7pm Fri,Sat and Sun.
